Alpha Robotics Delivery Robots

Delivery means different things in different buildings. In a restaurant it is a hot plate that needs to reach table 12 before it cools. In a hotel it is a toothbrush that has to ride the elevator to the 14th floor. In a hospital it is a sample that only the right nurse should open, and in a factory it is 600 kg of parts that need to reach the line on time. Alpha Robotics builds delivery robots for each of those jobs, and the right choice starts with one question: does the load travel on an open tray, in a closed compartment, or on an industrial deck?

Background

Alpha Robotics is a Chinese maker of commercial service robots, with delivery as its largest product family. Its delivery robots fall into four groups: Panda tray robots for restaurants and venues, SpeedyBot couriers with enclosed compartments, hospital delivery models, and Panda AMRs for industrial transport. Panda Tray Robots

The Panda Delivery Robot is built for fast table service. According to published specifications, it carries up to 30 kg on 380 × 380 mm trays, moves at up to 2 m/s, stops within 200 mm and positions itself to ±50 mm. It navigates with LiDAR, infrared and ultrasonic sensors, returns to its charger on its own and uses a 10.1 inch screen for greetings, dish information and advertising. It stands 1200 mm tall and weighs 43 kg.

The Panda Ultra is Alpha Robotics' marketing delivery robot. It combines food delivery and dish introductions with guest reception, lead generation and advertising, for venues where the robot should sell as well as serve.

Panda Hotel

The Panda Hotel takes room amenities, takeout and documents to guest rooms on its own, calling and riding elevators between floors. According to published specifications, it is 1060 mm tall, weighs 59 kg, moves at up to 2 m/s, charges in 2 to 3 hours and uses 40 m LiDAR. Between deliveries it can guide guests to rooms, restrooms and elevators, announce events and link to QR codes for in-room shopping.

SpeedyBot Couriers

SpeedyBot Max carries orders in four independent compartments, so one trip can serve several rooms or customers. It uses multi line 3D LiDAR and a 360° panoramic camera, calls and rides elevators by itself, and includes a built in UV disinfection system. It is offered here in Standard, Food Delivery and Express editions for general, food and parcel delivery.

SpeedyBot Pro extends delivery outdoors. According to published specifications, it carries up to 100 kg, travels at up to 7.2 km/h, runs about 8 hours with a range of about 40 km and climbs 15° slopes. It links with elevators and gates through an IoT module and can recognize traffic lights, which suits campuses, parks, communities, office parks and airports.

Hospital Delivery Robots

Hospitals need deliveries that are traceable and protected. The Panda Hospital and Panda E Multi Layer carry medicines, samples and supplies between wards, labs and pharmacies, and the SpeedyBot Max Medical Edition uses closed compartments for secure deliveries. The Panda Disinfection Robot adds automated disinfection of wards and public areas. Browse all Alpha Robotics medical robots.

Panda AMR Series

For industrial transport, the Panda AMRs are named for their rated payload, according to published specifications:

Model Rated payload Dimensions (L × W × H) Weight Battery
Panda AMR F150 150 kg 600 × 430 × 1360 mm 45 kg 24 V, 15 Ah
Panda AMR F300 300 kg 885 × 500 × 1350 mm 90 kg 48 V, 20 Ah
Panda AMR F600 600 kg 985 × 600 × 1300 mm 100 kg 48 V, 20 Ah

The F600 uses LiDAR SLAM, travels at up to 2 m/s, runs up to 16 hours, passes through 80 cm gaps and crosses 30 mm thresholds and 40 mm grooves. For more options, see autonomous mobile robots.

Delivery plus promotion and lead capture Panda Ultra
Hotel room deliveries by elevator Panda Hotel
Several orders per trip in closed compartments SpeedyBot Max
Outdoor or campus delivery SpeedyBot Pro
Secure hospital deliveries SpeedyBot Max Medical Edition

Before You Buy

  • Choose tray or compartment: open trays are fastest for table service; closed compartments protect privacy, hygiene and security.
  • Measure the route: check aisle widths, door openings, thresholds, ramps and floor surfaces.
  • Plan elevators and doors: elevator and gate integration needs on site work and the building owner's approval; confirm elevator brands and access control early.
  • Check Wi-Fi coverage: robots need a stable network along every route and inside elevators where possible.
  • Size the load: match tray, compartment or deck capacity to your heaviest typical order or load.
  • Plan peak times: work out how many robots your busiest hour needs, and where they will charge.
  • Outdoor rules: for SpeedyBot Pro, confirm local rules for robots on paths and roads, weather tolerance and any permits.
  • Hospital workflows: agree compartment access, tracking and infection control with clinical teams.
